    • I have a question about Dr. Morse’s caution about using enzymes , there are enzymes in raw foods thats one of the reasons we are supposed to have raw foods in our diet and a reason why raw foods are benifitial for example pineapples have enzymes that are very good for us , so raw foods definitely have enzymes in them, why dose Dr. Morse reccomend not using enzymes if one of the reasons we need raw foods are for the naturally occurring digestive enzymes is Dr. Morse saying that the enzymes in raw foods are not good either ?

      • He isn’t against the natural enzymes in whole foods like you just mentioned. Those are natural still bound to other constituents and buffers in food that the body recognizes. What he points out is that the objectionable ones are the ISOLATED enzymes that have been take away from the constituents they were once bound to… in a laboratory… that made them recognizable, digestible and usable and then later eliminatable (if that is a word) by the body. The isolated enzymes , separated in a lab, only stimulate and later ENERVATE because as Dr. M. says, “With every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”. He talks about some of his patients who became SO reliant on digestive enzymes that they become no longer able to digest foods without those supplements. They send the wrong messages to the brain that the work of the digestion is being taken care of by an outside source. After enough time of getting this message the digestive process gets out of practice and as the saying goes, “If you don’t use it, you lose it.”

  4. The average height for a woman is 5’4 not 5’9. 5’9 is tall for a women. What is short for a man 6ft? LOL! Average height for a man is 5’10.
